How to ask a business about products, prices and availability

A useful enquiry tells the business what you need, how much you need and where or when you need it. Start with the seller contacts on the business page so your message reaches the right business.
Check the listing before you write
Read the description, location and product or service details. Note the item name, size, model or other option you are interested in. A photograph can help explain your request, but ask the seller to confirm the actual item and current availability.
The contact buttons on a shop page belong to that business. Kariakoo Sokoni’s platform WhatsApp handles website support and listing enquiries; it is a separate contact.
Send the details needed for a useful answer
- Item or service: name it and add specifications such as size, material, colour or the work required.
- Quantity: state a number and unit, such as pieces, metres or boxes.
- Location: say where you will collect or where delivery or work is needed.
- Timing: give your preferred date and ask what is achievable.
- Questions: ask for the total price, what it includes and any relevant options.
A message you can adapt
This is an example request, not a product offer or quotation:
Hello. I found your business on Kariakoo Sokoni: [page link]. I am looking for 12 plain cotton T-shirts in size L. Do you have them available? Please confirm the colours, total price and whether collection on [date] or delivery to [area] is possible.
For a service, replace the item and quantity with a short description of the job. Add measurements or photographs where they help, and ask whether the business needs to inspect the work before quoting.
Confirm the details before making arrangements
Ask the business to confirm the specification, current price, quantity and collection or delivery date. Clarify additional costs and any applicable return, exchange or cancellation terms with the seller. Keep the agreed details in writing so both sides can refer to the same information.
A directory listing is a starting point for a conversation. This website does not provide a checkout or collect payment for the items shown. Do not share passwords, PINs or one-time security codes in an enquiry.
If you have not found the right business
Try another category, location or product name in the business directory. You can also post your buy requirement with quantities, specifications and your contact details. This sends a request for team review; it does not place an order or guarantee a supplier or response time.
